Dr. Lydia Glass

PT, DPT

I was born in England and raised in Wales until I was 12 years old before relocating to South Florida with my family. Soon after graduating from my undergraduate degree in Graphic Design at Lynn University, I relocated to the Carolinas for more seasonal weather, mountains, and outdoor activities. I lived in Asheville for many years where I met Foster, the love of my life. I worked happily in the field of pediatric dentistry (and dabbled in graphic design for the company I worked for) for 10+ years before deciding to pursue my true calling in physical therapy. I attended community college while working full time in effort to fulfill all my science prerequisites. I then acquired my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at South College.

I gave birth to our one and only beautiful daughter, Ella Sophia while finishing up my degree. We didn’t think we could have children, so she truly is a blessing and the joy of our life! I had the opportunity to practice pelvic health in addition to the treatment of orthopedic and neurological conditions at an hospital based outpatient clinic in Western North Carolina. I became interested in women’s pelvic health while I was pregnant with my daughter. I experienced several common urinary complaints/symptoms during pregnancy and postpartum, so I decided to take matters into my own hands by taking several courses through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Since then, I have taken a multitude of continuing education courses to expand my knowledge and tool set to offer my patients.

We relocated to Greer in 2021 so I could pursue my specialization in women’s pelvic health at Body Works and I’m so grateful to be here! It’s truly a privilege to work in this field, gain the trust of my patients, help reduce pain, and reclaim their strength and confidence!
